MONASTERIO.- En el año 950 Serracin Ovecoz dio al Convento de San Esteban de Salcedo, los monasterios de los Santos Justo y Pastor, S. Mamés y Santa Águeda del lugar de Cuartango ignorándose de momento las vicisitudes de este templo ya que hoy únicamente se conserva su nombre en un monte comunal de Abornicano, ANDA,Andagoya y Catadiano. ASAF
MOTE: Gorrione. Se quedan en la hiedra del puente sobre el río.

PREHISTORIA.- En Gibijo Becerro Bengoa descubrió un dolmen grande y en él se hallaron 103 esqueletos.
En el monte San Sebastián fue explorado un dolmen ASAF
LEYENDAS.- Como marcharon las brujas de la ermita de Santa Águeda a Abecia.- ver LEYENDAS
